Aubrey Plaza recently opened up about her bold fashion choice at the 2023 SAG Awards during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Show. The actress made waves with a striking bronze sequin Michael Kors gown featuring a front-center cutout and crisscross neckline that showcased her toned midriff.

Plaza explained that she didn’t overthink the decision to wear the dress, stating, “They just gave me that dress, and I put it on. I wasn’t really thinking about it so much. I swear to God.” When asked if she considered covering up, she humorously added, “My b**bs aren’t really like… If I had giant knockers, maybe I’d be like, ‘Whoa. I gotta keep these things…,’ ”

The White Lotus star also expressed confusion over the online attention her outfit received, questioning, “Is this different from any other dress I wear? I didn’t think that dress specifically was like, ‘Woo. Check it out. I’m gonna really make a splash here with this underboob.'”

Her stylist, Jessica Paster, had previously defended the choice, revealing that they did seven fittings and intentionally wanted to feature underboob.

In the interview, Plaza also discussed landing a role in Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming film Megalopolis, admitting she was shocked to be cast. “I thought, ‘How am I on his radar?’… I was actually shocked when I got it.”
