Mandy Moore now has her own “Big Three”! The former This Is Us star, 40, alongside her husband Taylor Goldsmith, joyfully announced the birth of their third child, a baby girl named Louise Everett Goldsmith. The proud mother shared this heartwarming news on Instagram, Wednesday, Sept. 25.
“Lou is here!” Moore excitedly captioned a tender black-and-white snapshot taken during the newborn’s arrival. “Louise Everett Goldsmith made her debut healthy, joyful, and right on time for Virgo season.”
She continued by sharing her elation: “She is our dream come true, and her big brothers are already utterly captivated by her, just like we are. We are beyond grateful for our family of five (and our very own Big Three) and cherishing each and every moment of this precious time. ”
Moore and Goldsmith are also parents to two boys: August “Gus,” 3, and Oscar “Ozzie,” who is 22 months old.
Back in June, the couple revealed the exciting news of expecting a daughter via Instagram, alongside an endearing photograph of Gus and Ozzie holding hands, donning T-shirts labeled “Big” and “Middle.” Moore added a playful caption: “Sometimes life imitates art.”
“The third in our own Big Three is coming soon,” she wrote, expressing her excitement for the upcoming addition to the family. “We can’t wait for these boys to welcome their baby sister. ”
Despite the excitement, Moore has been candid about the challenges of this pregnancy, which she described as the most demanding one yet. In July, she took to Instagram Stories, sharing a mirror selfie in a form-fitting black tank top that accentuated her growing baby bump.
“Is it September yet?” she humorously queried in the caption. “I am deeply appreciative of my body, but this pregnancy has been the toughest by far… chasing after two toddlers is no joke!”
Moore and Goldsmith, lead singer of Dawes, exchanged vows in 2018. Reflecting on their relationship, Moore previously expressed to PEOPLE how deeply connected and supported she feels by her partner.
“I feel incredibly understood and supported,” she said. “I’m fortunate to have someone who always has my back. I found the right person, and together, I believe we can face any challenge.”
